### A DePIN AGGREGATOR STAKE POOL CONCEPT

WMTX is a Cardano community stake pool through and through inspired by the famous World Mobile sharing economy. We are a 100% independent single-pool operator.

We're driven and inspired by the energy of the DePIN aggregator movement, but unlike some companies that keep as much as half of the profits for themselves, we're giving 100% of the reward streams back to delegators. We share 90% of returns with all delegators according to stake size, while reserving 10% for [**WMTX Pro**](/basics/wmtx-pro) members.

We've reserved [**20% of the margin fee**](/basics/allocations) from block rewards for spot purchases of $WMTx tokens. This is a passive way to DCA (dollar-cost average) and is meant to diversify beyond infrastructure that has a longer time horizon. $WMTx buys go straight back to delegators.

* Potential for extra infrastructure and/or $WMTx tokens staked to the Blistering EarthNode may allow us to generate more rewards.
* Getting to meet awesome World Mobilers from around the world.

Of the [**50% margin fee**](/basics/allocations) that we collect from producing blocks on Cardano, we not only put 100% into buying physical infrastructure and $WMTx tokens, we share 100% of the rewards with [**delegators**](/basics/delegator-rewards) (all claimable in $WMTx for simplicity).

We also help those that can't buy physical infrastructure for whatever reason; whether financial or otherwise. To stake passively on Cardano is effortless and now you can help put your ADA to work in a tangible way to help the World Mobile mission.

Faced with a choice of closing shop or trying something new, [**Blistering.io's founder**](https://x.com/blistering_io) decided to re-brand the stake pool with the WMTX ticker and here we are today; merging our passions for World Mobile and Cardano.

### CARDANO

<summary>How does staking work on Cardano?</summary>

Cardano uses a **delegated proof-of-stake (dPoS)** consensus model, meaning users do not need to run their own full node to participate. Instead, they can delegate their ADA to a staking pool.

Here’s how the staking process works:

1. **Staking Pools**: These are groups of users (called delegators) who combine their ADA to increase the likelihood of creating a new block and earning rewards. When you stake your ADA to a pool, you're essentially entrusting the pool to participate in the network’s consensus mechanism on your behalf.
2. **Delegation**: You don't have to give up control of your ADA when you stake it. By delegating your ADA to a pool, you maintain ownership and can withdraw or move it at any time. The only thing you're doing is **delegating voting power** to the pool's stake.
3. **Block Production and Rewards**: Cardano’s network relies on a process called **Ouroboros** for consensus. Every time a pool successfully validates a block (i.e., adds a block to the blockchain), they receive rewards, which are then shared among the pool's delegators based on the amount of ADA they’ve staked.
4. **Staking Rewards**: The rewards are distributed periodically, every **5 days** (or one epoch in Cardano terms). These rewards come from the network’s transaction fees and new ADA created by the protocol.

Cardano's liquid staking is brilliant. At no point does your ADA ever leave your wallet; it is simply delegated ("assigned") to the WMTX stake pool.&#x20;

There is a small network fee to delegate (or re-delegate), but otherwise you'll never have to lock or lose control of your assets.

Reminder: never share your wallet spending password or seed phrase. We will never ask for any personally identifiable information from you (caveat for some [**WMTX Pro**](/basics/wmtx-pro) members where coordination is required to prove asset ownership).

Should the official World Mobile team wish to claim or operate the stake pool ticker "WMTX," we will gladly transfer it as a gesture of goodwill.

From a legal perspective, all physical infrastructure purchases (e.g., AirNodes) are fully owned by Blistering Media Inc..

In the unlikely event that stake pool operations are discontinued, we will ensure a fair and transparent process for handling infrastructure assets:

* **Option A**: All equipment purchases will be auctioned publicly at fair market value, provided that World Mobile facilitates a secure mechanism for transferring ownership rights.
* **Option B**: If NFT-based ownership representations become available, we will list the assets on reputable public marketplaces (e.g., jpg.store or Magic Eden).

Should neither option result in a successful sale within 90 days, the assets will become permanent property of Blistering Media Inc..

At any point, we reserve the right to repurpose, sell, or dispose of the infrastructure in alignment with our long-term strategic goals and portfolio balance.
